We are delighted to announce the appointment of former Westcoast Managing Director and well-recognised technology channel leader – Alex Tatham – as Board Advisor to the Group. Alex will be helping the Board develop and implement its growth strategy in both distribution of devices, 3PL logistics and value-added services.
Alex’s 30-year career in technology distribution will prove an invaluable foil to the leadership team as EGE builds beyond its core mobile distribution business, making increased use of the company’s outstanding systems, technical expertise and large distribution facility in Stoke-on-Trent.
A fully qualified chartered accountant, Alex will assist the Board with investment, process and above all sales & marketing strategy as the EGE Group builds for the future with new sales channels under its new brands.
We are delighted to have Alex join our team. Just giving access to such experience will help, not just our Board, but the whole EGE community. We have exciting plans to expand beyond our current markets with new products and services and Alex will provide advice and contacts across the UK and European channels. He has an infectious personality and boundless enthusiasm alongside his expertise and hence will make a positive impact to our company in many areas.

Alex qualified as a chartered accountant with EY and spent the majority of his 30 years in the UK distribution channel with Ideal Hardware/Bell Microproducts and Westcoast.
