Who we are looking for
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our Operations team. This role is essential in supporting the smooth running of our warehouse, order fulfilment, and logistics functions, ensuring exceptional service levels for both internal and external customers.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in accuracy and organisation, and can work both independently and as part of a team. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in helping us deliver quality, efficiency and reliability across our distribution operations.
Preferred skills and experience
Previous warehouse, logistics, or order fulfilment experience preferred
Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking and packing orders
Comfortable using warehouse systems, scanners and computers
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
FLT licence advantageous but not essential
Full UK driving licence beneficial
Good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures
Reliable, organised and proactive approach to work
Main responsibilities
- Accurately picking and packing customer orders for dispatch
- Verifying stock integrity and reporting shortages, damages, or discrepancies
- Recording consignment information including weights and dimensions
- Preparing orders safely and in line with shipping regulations
- Supporting courier collections and ensuring timely dispatch of orders
- Assisting with stock movement and warehouse organisation
- Maintaining high housekeeping and health & safety standards
- Supporting wider warehouse and logistics operations where required
- Working collaboratively with the warehouse, logistics, technical and QA teams
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 99.5%+ accuracy on all picked orders
- 99.5%+ stock count accuracy
- Orders processed and dispatched within agreed courier cut-off times
- Consistent adherence to health & safety and housekeeping standards
- Positive contribution to team productivity and operational efficiency
